Professional photography for paintings and other visual artworks, focused on producing clear, accurate, high-quality images for portfolios, websites, gallery submissions, open calls, exhibitions, publications, and archival records.

 

Attention is given to framing, lighting, colour accuracy, surface detail, and overall presentation.

From £40 per hour, transportation fee of £8 will be applied separately. 

Portrait and studio photography for artists who need professional images for websites, press, applications, social media, artist biographies, or promotional materials.

 

Sessions can include natural portraits, working-in-studio images, and photographs of the artist alongside their work or creative environment.

Editing Turnaround

Standard editing turnaround begins from 7 working days, depending on the number of images and the level of editing required. The expected delivery date will be agreed before the work begins.

Shorter turnaround times may be available upon request and can be discussed depending on the project requirements and my availability.

​

Urgent requests requiring delivery in fewer than 7 working days will be subject to an additional rush fee.

Photography for exhibitions, private views, openings, performances, installations, workshops, and other creative events. Coverage can focus on the overall atmosphere of the event, key moments, artworks, performers, speakers, and audience interaction.

The aim is to create a clear and professional visual record that can be used for websites, press, social media, future applications, and archival documentation.

Rates start from £50 per hour and may be negotiated depending on the event type, duration, location, and level of coverage required.

Adobe Photoshop may be used for colour correction, exposure balancing, cropping, perspective adjustment, background clean-up, image refinement in jpg or png, and preparation for digital or print presentation.

Photography sessions are carried out using a Canon EOS 700D, with attention to lighting, framing, colour accuracy, and detail to produce clear and professional visual documentation.

Post-production and image refinement are completed using Adobe Photoshop (2026) on a professional editing setup. Editing may include colour correction, exposure adjustment, cropping, perspective correction, background clean-up, and preparation for digital or print use.

 

For artwork photography, particular attention is given to preserving the original colour, texture, and surface qualities of the work as accurately as possible.
