These works are inspired by the history of human migration due to the desire of exploring a new space and knowledge, have connect to Imperialism and how such imperialism have influenced on endemic nature and environments as well as cultural shift. Now extinct oo are being used as an avian representative for this since OO birds in Hawaiian islands were hunted due to their aesthetical appearance, and the import of new species and avian malaria by the western migrator in the colonialism period caused them to be extinct in the mid 20th century.
These birds are visual symbolism to state the idea how birds show a new perspective upon human colonisation and decolonisation of nature.
